PAINTING WORKSHOP in Thorverton, Devon: For all levels

In this painting workshop, we will be using acrylic paints on paper and canvas. If you are a beginner OR would like to develop / re-ignite your skills, this workshop is tailored to suit all levels.
I will explain through demonstrations and show you methods with step-by-step guidance.

The course will touch on the following:

– mixing paint / warm and cool colours
– basic composition
– paint application: mark-making and blending techniques

You should be able to finish 1 x canvas painting on the day. However, if you work quickly, another canvas will be available.
You’ll be offered a choice of reference images to work from (for example; animals, landscapes, portraits, seascapes) or you can choose to bring your own.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and parking are all free but you’ll need to bring yourself some lunch.
