People love a good landscape painting that visually transports them to another world. They like to be invited into a view, real or imaginary, to escape into a painting – from the comfort of their home.

With landscapes, I tend to be drawn to wild coastlines and wooded areas. I like to evoke the sound and smell of the subject, not just focus on how it looks. I paint a recognisable likeness, with detail and texture, while integrating abstract colours.
