Working on a commission is always motivating, creating a unique piece that is personal to the client. This can be a portrait, a favourite landscape, a ‘portrait’ of a house, a favourite chair, a horse, or whatever makes your heart sing.

Although popular, I only do a few dog portraits each year, so there may be some waiting time for one of these.

Reference photos are used but the final piece is not intended to be a photographic reproduction. It’s a moment in time, a likeness captured in paint.

Approximate cost of commissions (examples of popular sizes):
30 x 30 x 3.5cm– on deep-edged canvas = £225

30 x 40cm – on paper = £275

30 x 40cm – on deep-edged canvas = £295

40 x 40cm – on deep-edged canvas = £310

60 x 60cm – on deep-edged canvas = £395

50 x 70cm – on traditional or deep-edged canvas = £395

For larger or smaller paintings, please don’t hesitate to ask.

These prices do not include postage, packing or delivery.

Please bear in mind that a number of factors change the price of a commission, including size, complexity, detail, materials, hourly rate, etc. However, I strive to make my commissioned work accessible.
