Painting Workshop in Cheltenham: TIPS and TRICKS

In this acrylic painting workshop we will look at some tips and tricks that will help you produce fabulous paintings. We will:

– Look at using contrast to help make your paintings ‘pop’.
– Break down a subject into essential geometric or basic shapes, experimenting with minimizing both the detail and brush strokes.
– Choosing areas of a painting to render in a more realistic fashion, thereby leading the viewer’s eye to these particular areas.

This workshop caters for improvers, not complete beginners. Materials are not included. It’ll be fun and friendly, with 1-to-1 guidance and we’ll use reference photos to inspire us. The day will be all about being creative, enjoying the painting process and you’ll leave with a new painting, feeling inspired!
