PAINTING WORKSHOP in Thorverton, Devon: for Beginners & Improvers

In the workshop, I will explain through demonstrations and show you methods with step-by-step guidance.

We will touch on the following:

• mixing paints / using contrasting colours.
• paint application: how to layer the paint, mark-making techniques, blending.

You should be able to finish 1 x canvas painting on the day. However, if you work quickly, another canvas will be available.

You’ll be offered a choice of reference images to work from (for example; animals, landscapes, portraits, seascapes) or you can choose to bring your own.

The day will be all about being creative, enjoying the painting process and you’ll leave with a new painting, feeling inspired!
