David Attenborough, in the words of a friend of mine, ‘my idol’! This man is the world’s best known and most loved natural history filmmaker – an absolute legend. In his fifty-year career, he has been a broadcaster, producer, author but above all, a conservationist.

For me, his voice brings back happy memories of watching wildlife programmes with my granny. The wealth of knowledge and immense discovery that has mapped his life is almost unimaginable. Most definitely a person of note!

This original art work was painted while listening to David Attenborough talk about the immense changes that the natural world experienced during the Covid pandemic. Incredible.
